Check your nationality and travel document before starting an Azerbaijan eVisa application. The passport used for the application must be the same travel document you use for the trip.

What you need to apply

  • Citizenship or permanent residence that is eligible for Azerbaijan eVisa.
  • A valid passport or eligible travel document. Its validity should extend at least three months beyond the expiry date of the eVisa.
  • The nationality selected in the application must match the passport you will use to travel.
  • A working email address for application notifications and the visa result.
  • Accurate personal and travel information and electronic payment after submission.
Important passport rule: If the travel document used for the application is different from the document used for travel, the eVisa can be considered invalid.

Before travelling

The electronic visa is not attached to your passport. Keep the issued eVisa available for presentation together with your travel document at the border. Travellers staying in Azerbaijan for longer periods may also have registration obligations under migration rules.
